Rest & Renew | A yoga, earth & sauna solstice day retreat

Price range: £50.00 through £115.00

Join Georgie and Katie for a beautiful day of connecting to nature, your yoga practice and your breath. A one-day seasonal sanctuary to honour the middle of summer, ground into the body, and return to yourself.

What to expect

Join us for a nourishing day retreat designed to honour the power and stillness of the Summer Solstice. Rooted in the rhythm of the Earth, our retreat invites you to rest deeply, reconnect with nature and renew your inner light through yoga, breathwork, and sacred self-care. Our home for the day will be a gorgeous tipi in the Oxfordshire countryside with the added treat of a sauna and cold plunge. Held in a serene natural setting, our day is curated to reflect the balance of the solstice — the longest day of the year, where light peaks and the earth calls us to pause, soften, and listen.

We will be exploring the physical practice through asana, connecting to yourself through creativity and breath and experiencing nature with a sensory nature walk, cold water plunges and sauna – you’ll be gently guided to re-align with your own inner rhythm and the energy of the season.

Date – 2027 dates TBC

Timings – 11am – 5pm

Location – Lopemede Farm, Long Crendon Road, Thame OX9 3SH

What previous guests thought of Rest & Renew

Georgie and Katie created the most lovely, nourishing and cosy space (even with the cold plunge!) on the retreat. If you are looking for some amazing food, great ways to move your body and take some time for yourself you should go. An absolutely delicious day of wellness in the best way possible | Annabel

The best decision I ever made was booking onto Rest & Renew. Georgie and Katie have put together a day that is basically a big hug! With gorgeous yoga flows, relaxation meditations, beautiful walks and quite possibly the best lunch I’ve had! The venue is perfect with a gorgeous lake swim and hot tub to end what was truly restful and relaxing day. Thank you | Louise

Draft Schedule

11:00am – Intention setting

We begin by arriving fully — grounding into the space, connecting with each other and setting personal and collective intentions for the day. Using seasonal themes of light, growth and surrender, we reflect on what we’re cultivating and what we’re ready to release.

11:15am – Vinyasa Flow

A soulful, energising Vinyasa flow designed to awaken the body and harness the fire of the solstice sun. Expect creative sequencing and breath-led movement to open, expand and revitalise your entire system. All levels welcome.

12:30pm – Seasonal Plant-Based Lunch

A nourishing, grounding lunch made with seasonal ingredients. Time to eat slowly, connect and savour the abundance of the season.

13:15pm – Sensory Nature walk and Pranayama

A guided walk through the landscape — barefoot optional — inviting deep presence through the senses. We’ll integrate grounding breathwork (pranayama) outdoors, syncing our inhale and exhale with the rhythm of the Earth.

14:00pm – Yin & Restorative

Soft, deeply replenishing floor-based practice to balance the earlier flow. Supported poses, long holds, and mindful stillness.

✨ Optional: Receive intuitive hands-on massage adjustments or a calming head massage during this practice.

15:00pm – Sauna and Solstice Sun Catchers crafting

Alternating between heat and cool, you’ll cycle through the sauna, then drop into creative flow making your own sun catcher to honour the solstice.

16:30pm – Meditation & Closing Circle

We’ll end the day in stillness — with a guided meditation and group sharing to integrate and reflect. A soft closing to honour what’s been stirred, released, and awakened.
