Why should you add a meditation cushion to your yoga practice?

I designed our meditation cushions to help you find ease in your practice. To help you sit more comfortably and fill the gap between your body and the floor. Made for sitting but perfect for so much else as well.

• The subtly sloped and curved shape will tilt the pelvis into a more comfortable position for sitting.
• The organic buckwheat hull filling moves with the weight of your body helping the cushion really mould to you
• By lifting the hips above the knees it can help to relieve pressure while seated cross legged

A perfect prop for seated yoga poses, breathwork practices or meditation. They even work perfectly as a cushion for savasana or replacing a yoga block in poses such as pigeon or a restorative bridge.

How will my meditation cushion arrive?

Every order is wrapped in recycled tissue paper making it perfect as a self care treat for yourself or as a gift for a yoga or meditation practicing friend. Add a gift note at checkout if you would like to send direct to a loved one.

Yogipod is here to help you find your calm. A small business bringing together the craft of hand block printing with yoga props and homewares to inspire you to take life a little slower.

Designed to be beautiful as well as supportive this hand block printed meditation cushion is handmade by Georgie, Yogipod founder, in her Oxfordshire studio from fabric hand block printed by a cluster of artisan workshops in Jaipur.

All of our products are handmade so please excuse us for any little faults which are part of our charm.

• Meditation cushion covers are made in the UK by Georgie. By manufacturing this way we minimise waste through careful lay planning and restocking when necessary rather than holding excess stock

• Packaging used to send out is recyclable and produced from either sustainable or recycled sources

• Cool hand wash. Turn inside out before washing. Please be aware fading may occur.
• Do not bleach.
• Do not tumble dry.
• Air dry in shade to prevent fading.
• Cool iron on reverse
