This block printed eye pillow has been hand made from fabric block printed in Jaipur. Filled with flaxseed it is perfect for any kind of relaxation practice whether it be yoga, bed time or just a moment stolen for yourself.
The Fretwork inspired design mixes bold and delicate elements printed in a warm pink tone with hints of coral and terracotta. The colour of Jaipur bringing some warmth to your practice.

When do I use an eye pillow?
An eye pillow can be used in a yoga practice, at a sound bath or to help you fall asleep as part of a bedtime routine. Placed gently across the eyes they help to block out the light, removing stimulation and relax your body by toning the vagus nerve.
Why are Yogipod eye pillows different?
Our eye pillows are a little different to a lot of others on the market.
- Designed to be beautiful as well as to soothe your nervous system, our eye pillows are handmade in my Oxfordshire studio from fabric hand block printed by a cluster of artisan workshops in Rajasthan.
- Our eye pillows are unscented. Scent is so personal so either use them unscented (it’s the weight that is magic) or add your favourite essential oil to personalise your rest
- Filled with organic linseed and nothing else
How do eye pillows work?
By placing the gentle weight of an eye pillow over the eye area it sends a signal to the vagus nerve via a reflex called the oculocardiac reflex. Stimulating, or toning, this nerve is often associated with helping us drop out of fight or flight and into our more relaxed state.
Of course eye pillows also block out the light and remove visual stimulations and distractions. This can have the effect of helping us to relax and quieten the mind.

Every order is wrapped in recycled tissue paper making it perfect as a self care treat for yourself or as a gift for a yoga practicing friend or someone looking for some calm in their life. Add a gift note at checkout if you would like to send direct to a loved one.
