The Blue Paisley throw is a hand block printed throw constructed in the traditional kantha method. Hand printed with it’s delicate paisley design in Jaipur, two layers of cotton are then hand stitched together in Barmer, Rajasthan to create the kantha itself.

This double layered cotton construction means there is weight to the throw without bulk. This makes it perfect for adding warmth in the winter months but also being able to be used as summer weight quilt in the warmer months.

The blue paisley design is a delicate yet large design, with the beautiful rich blue tone contrasting on the natural cotton ground. Complimented by a simple border design and blue embroidery its a really calming design.

A multi purpose printed throw, this blue paisley kantha can be used for warmth in the winter, a cool layer in the summer and to curl up on the sofa any time of the year. Due to it’s double layer construction it is weighty without being bulky, also making it great for restorative yoga.

Hand printed by a cluster of small artisan workshops in Jaipur and then hand stitched by a cluster of female artisans in Barmer, Rajasthan. Working with small workshops means that communities themselves are supported with the printing work

The bold blue of this paisley print contrasts beautifully with the neutral cotton. Perfect to pair with blue or grey cushions or as a more neutral background for brighter tones.

220 x 270 cm – This means they fall to the floor on a standard double but even on a super king still have some drop

Care Instructions

– Due to the embroidery and printing it is recommended to dry clean or cool handwash. Please be aware fading may occur.

– Do not bleach.

– Do not tumble dry.

– Air dry in the shade to prevent fading.

– Cool iron on the reverse.

Delivery will be quoted at checkout. We currently only ship to the UK and the countries of the European Union. For shipping to anywhere else in the world please contact us as we are happy to discuss.

All delivery times are quoted from dispatch date, not order. We aim to dispatch within three working days.

Out of Stock Products

For a selection of products it may be possible to place back orders when products are out of stock. These will essentially be ordered and made to order and so for this the leadtime will be longer. For back orders please expect despatch within three weeks of the order date but we will be in touch to discuss.
